TRADER LANG NOT DONE

The Regina Pats aren't done trading if the price is right.

Chad Lang has been receiving calls from all over the WHL about some of the vets. Guys like Jordan Weal, Captain Garrett Mitchell, 20 year old Colin Reddin, Damien Ketlo and defencemen Brandon Davidson, Art Bidlevskii. Lang has already said that it will take a sock-blowing offer to pry Weal away. Who the Pats hope to build a contender around.

I say hope because after all this is the same team that failed to do that around Jordan Eberel of all players. But in the wacky world of junior hockey anything can happen. It would be a hugh mistake if the Pats were to trade Weal.

I personal believe that even if a team is offering the best of the best.

WEAL HAS TOO STAY PUT!!!

Jordan will be back next year as a 19 year old and with the Pats having a young roster having a skilled vet like Jordan Weal on your side is very important. I could live without Mitchell not that I want to see him get traded. But if we can get a body plus a pick or two back for him it might not be a bad idea to pull the trigger on that one. With Art Bidlevskii again I believe the Pats have too hang onto him as he will be a key piece for the next few years.

But the rest Ketlo, Davidson, Blidstrand get them onto the first thing smoking. They are nothing but dead weight.

I guess only time will tell. But from now until Jan. 10 trade deadline it will be very interesting.

So stay tuned.
